Add an Occupation to a Navigator website (written instructions)

This tutorial explains how to add an Occupation to a GPsurgery.net Navigator website team page. Occupations are the categories you can use to group your Team Members. Ensure you are logged into your website. The black admin toolbar and orange Navigator toolbar should be visible at the top of the screen.

Select your practice's name in the admin toolbar.

You are now in the Dashboard. Hover your mouse over Team Members in the left-hand sidebar and select Occupation from the drop-down that appears.

You are now in the Occupations section of the Dashboard.

To add a new Occupation, add the Occupation title into the Name box.

Add a description for the Occupation if needed.

Once you are happy with the title and Description, select the blue Add new Occupation button.

The occupation will now be visible in the list of Occupations.

To reorder your Occupations, you can drag and drop them in the list to your desired order.

Your new Occupation is now available for you to use. NOTE: Occupations are only visible if a Team Member is published under that category. When no team members are categorised under the Occupation, it is automatically hidden from view.
